The Brisbane teenager who preferred work to school now has his own global business

 

Joe Andon began his business career by skipping school at the age of 15 and working to create online stores and marketing collateral for other business from his own office space. Eventually, he decided to sell products for himself – randomly selecting 'trampolines' out of a list! Without any products to sell, he liaised with Chinese manufacturers himself after already accepting orders from customers... and then Vuly was born. 

Joe's three tips for young entrepreneurs are to:

  • Love what you do
  • Make a big effort to manage your cash flow, and
  • Trust your in instincts
