The age of your kids is crucial to consider. If they're too young, they’re unlikely to have any interest in the trampoline, let alone be able to climb in and out of it on their own. The golden age for a trampoline is 6 years old and above.
It's generally not recommended that 2-year-olds use trampolines. This is for a number of reasons. Perhaps the most obvious is that they are not able to control their jumping very well. This, paired with the fact that their bones are still developing, can result in an increased chance of injury.
Again, 3 year olds are generally discouraged from using trampolines as they are still developing neuromuscular awareness and their little bodies are prone to injury. If you do get your 3 year olda trampoline, it should have a number of important safety features such as a safety net and safety pads.
Even 4 year olds are probably too young for a trampoline, but some kids that are more physically capable might be able to safely enjoy some basic bouncing. It's recommended that 4 year old trampolines have the necessary safety features and aren't too bouncy to reduce the risk of injury.
Maybe your kids aren’t always as well behaved as they should be, and that's okay; nobody's perfect! However, with this in mind, will they use the trampoline responsibly?
